Heritage Village Field Trip
On Thursday, November 20th, our class visited Heritage Village to see what Emirati life was like in the past. Have a look at our photos to recognise parts of life we learned about. Heritage Village is free to visit and students would make great tour guides now!

Class Dojo Star of the Week
Each week we count our points to see who was our class star of the week. Points are given to those students who demonstrate our IB Learner Profile attributes and attitudes.
Healthy Eating Day
On Tuesday, October 21st our school held a Healthy Eating Day. We wore red, green, orange and yellow clothes and brought in healthy food to share with our class. We were even busy using our fruit to help us learn in Math! Thank you for your generosity in sharing such healthy food!
Taking Action
Throughout our Units of Inquiry, many students are taking action and making posters or doing things to help them learn without being asked. Sometimes they are showing action by showing the Learner Profiles and Attitudes as well. Look at the fantastic work they are doing!
Our Field Trip to the Fire Station
On Monday, October 13th, our class went to the Al Bateen Fire Station. What an amazing time we had learning all about the responsibilities of firemen and what happens at a fire station. Our trip helped us to understand our central idea that people contribute to their community in different ways. Firemen have such an important role in our community. Some of us even think it would be great to be a fireman after our visit!
Who We Are
School Community Questions
As part of our Unit of Inquiry, we wanted to find out the responsibilities of people in our community. We asked students in Ms. Martina's Grade 1 and Ms. Elaine's Grade 3 classes what their responsibilities were at school. They were great thinkers and thought it was important to listen to the teacher, be caring to their friends and do their best work!
Calculator Fun!
We had a great time using calculators during our Math lessons. We found out there are many things we can use calculators for including addition and subtraction. Some of us even know about multiplication!
Healthy Snacks!
In our class we know how important it is to eat healthy food at school to help keep our brains thinking and give us energy for the whole day. Look at our healthy food superstars this week!
